Have kids? or grandkids? Sex? Names? Ages? This is brag-time about your family... _Starz_Fire5> Married to Jackie Ickes and he is a Fireman I have 4 kid'o's 3 girls and 1 boy. My Oldest is fix'ing to Graduate from UT at Austin in Texas and might go to Law school just not sure right now. The Second is working a Teaching Degree, the Third is almost 18 ans will take a year off before College and the Last is 14 and he is very interested on Joining the Navy like his Dad did and maybe making it his life. He want to be a Navy Corman this is kinda like a Medic in the Army. He be in Hi-school next year and join the ROTC and we will see if that is what he wants---otherwise he like fishing and playing x-box games. _Starz_Fire5> No Grand Children as of yet. _StarZ_Keeper> thats very impressive, sounds like a lovely family you have there _StarZ_Keeper> there is plenty of time for that! lol _StarZ_Keeper> enjoy them, cause when grandkids come, your attention is going to be on them! _Starz_Fire5> yes but it took lots of work and plenty of reading from Dr. James Dobson and some others to boot _StarZ_Keeper> lol _Starz_Fire5> lol _StarZ_Keeper> How did you meet your hubby? When? Where? _Starz_Fire5> I have a story behind our meeting that is really special _StarZ_Keeper> share it with us please _Starz_Fire5> when I was growing up after my Bro. came home from Vetm. he went to work selling Ins. but found out that was not his cup of tea--he changed and went to work for Exxon in Baytown TX but a Lady would come by and collect on the Ins that he had sold to my Mother--this lady would be my Future Mother-in-Law anyway they would chat and I ask one day as he was telling my Mom that her son was joining the Navy--and I told her I would Pray for him and his safety and that God would bring him Home after his Time in the Navy. Many Years after the fact I finelly met Him at a Church Picinic playine volleyball--we chatted, dated and later Married---I did get the chance to tell him that I had Prayed for Him while he was away from home in the Navy and it made it very Special to tell my Kids that Story. _StarZ_Keeper> I bet! tHAT IS SPECIAL! _StarZ_Keeper> 6. What sort of student were you in school/college? Activities? Sports? Popular? Shy? Studious? _Starz_Fire5> lets see I was the class clown but studied very hard, I was in the Band and Speech Team, not sure if I was popular but I did make everyone laugh and of course get in trouble as I was not too serous sometimes. I was a _Starz_Fire5> Music Major at first but went into the Medical Field as a Respiratory Therapist and have been doing that was 25 yrs and now going back to school to get my RN. then I will be a RRT,RN and will be able to be more _Starz_Fire5> marketable in the Hospital or at the Dr's office that I work at now. _StarZ_Keeper> Thats a great field, we have 2 other nurses on our team _Starz_Fire5> Kewl _StarZ_Keeper> Are you a morning person or a night person? (In general and in spades) _Starz_Fire5> Morning I think but I do like the night too sometimes as I can't sleep when my Brain is too full _StarZ_Keeper> Are you a city person, or a country person? _Starz_Fire5> Country -- City is just to busy for me. _StarZ_Keeper> Where do you live? _Starz_Fire5> Highlands, TX the town is very small and Everyone know's Everyones Business--LOL _StarZ_Keeper> LOL _StarZ_Keeper> Have you always lived there? _Starz_Fire5> No I grew up in Baytown TX which is about 60-70 thousand people but I moved to the Big City of Highlands when I married my Husband as he grew up in this town -- the towns are just 5-7 miles apart _StarZ_Keeper> Have you ever met any famous celebrity in person? _Starz_Fire5> Well yes I have --- 1st is "Doc" Severinsen, 2nd is Carmen Dragon, 3rd Mary Lou Reddin when she had her babies I got to be at the delivery, several football and backetball player of the Astro's, Comet's,Oiler's and _ Texan's……..as they had children at the Hospital that I worked for and I was on the team for the baby. _StarZ_Keeper> wow, thats cool _StarZ_Keeper> If you could meet and talk to any person in history or in present day, living or dead, who would it be? _Starz_Fire5> Well there are a few--- Jesus, Paul, Moses, John, Goerge Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Robert E Lee, George W Bush just to name a few. _Starz_Fire5> my favorite Music-- all of it except Rap and that is just Noise. _StarZ_Keeper> lol I agree _StarZ_Keeper> When did you first learn to play spades? _Starz_Fire5> on Band Trips we would play Spades and Hearts and then on Chruch Trips Snow Skiing _StarZ_Keeper> When and how did you happen to come to zone? _Starz_Fire5> I was a Host for Backgammon back in 1996 and I played Backgammon and Spades _StarZ_Keeper> Have you been on other ladder teams, and had other nics? _Starz_Fire5> yes I was on the Crown Royals and my Nic was TxLady_Royal _StarZ_Keeper> When and why did you come to join Campfire? _Starz_Fire5> well I wanted to play and in the other rooms there was no rules and people were Just Rude and when I came to this room--they were Nice and better and I want to play here so I had to join a group to play. _StarZ_Keeper> What is your favorite thing about CF? _StarZ_Keeper> you just answered that one lol _Starz_Fire5> lol _StarZ_Keeper> Is there anything you would like to share with our CF family, that not many people know about you? _Starz_Fire5> Well as I'm new to all --- I'm a member of the Eastern Star and I will be Worthy Matron in June 2006 and have been active for some time just never got around to going up the line. _StarZ_Keeper> my aunt was a member also I still have her ring _StarZ_Keeper> If you won the lottery, what are the first 3 things you would do with the money? _Starz_Fire5> 1st I would give to my church 2nd set-up a plan to help people get an education and 3rd take care of my family and then pay off my Log House and pay a New Car. _StarZ_Keeper> _StarZ_Keeper> you were stranded on a desert isle what 3 things would you absolutely have to have? _Starz_Fire5> Shelter, Food and Clothes _Starz_Fire5> Mel Gibson wouln't hurt _StarZ_Keeper> you could change something in the world, what would it be? _Starz_Fire5> things would be more equal amoung People and then maybe we could all get along and the Crime Rate would go down or not happen. _StarZ_Keeper> Who had the most influence in your life? Parents? Other relatives? Teachers?
